About the Committee

The Pakistan Culture Projection Committee (PCPC) is formed to promote and project Pakistan’s cultural identity in Australia. The committee works to highlight Pakistan’s heritage, history, arts, crafts, music, literature, and traditions, while building a positive image of Pakistan through cultural programs, exhibitions, and community engagement.

Promote Pakistan’s Cultural Heritage

We aim to highlight Pakistan’s heritage including history, arts, crafts, music, literature, and traditions through cultural initiatives.

Build a Positive Image of Pakistan

We work to create a positive image of Pakistan internationally through cultural exchanges, exhibitions, and community representation.

Organise Cultural Events & Festivals

We plan and support cultural shows, festivals, seminars, and exhibitions to strengthen cultural awareness and participation.

Support Artists & Cultural Talent

We support Pakistani artists, writers, and performers and encourage unity through shared culture and community platforms.

Share Pakistan’s Values & Identity

We assist in publishing cultural material and arranging programs that explain Pakistan’s cultural values in a meaningful way.

Convener Profile

Sajid Toori is a dynamic community leader and media professional with dual degrees in Health Science and Media Science. He has worked in film, television, radio, theatre, sports, and arts across Pakistan and Australia. With over 14 years of service to diverse communities in Australia, his work has been acknowledged by the Parliament of Victoria. Sajid currently serves as Director at Voice of Australia.

National & Community Events Calendar

We will organise important national events to strengthen cultural identity and community connection throughout the year.

Quaid-e-Azam Day (25 December)

A tribute ceremony highlighting the vision and sacrifices of the Father of the Nation, including youth speeches, national songs, and documentary screening.

Pakistan National Day (23 March)

Flag ceremony and cultural performances, including a showcase of Pakistan’s progress and achievements.
04

Independence Day (14 August)

A full-scale celebration with cultural stalls, flag hoisting, children’s activities, and patriotic performances to encourage strong community engagement.
